About Alan Frost

I consider myself a strong and effective leader that can be versatile in leadership styles dependant on varying situations, a good leader can read a situation and adopt the relevant style to get the best outcomes. I have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain and develop strong working relationships both internally and externally with customers, general public, professionals, and other key stakeholders. I have experience of negotiating and agreeing annual service budgets, along with operationally managing and maintaining them within agreed limits. I am always conscious of service development and maximising performance, whilst ensuring quality remains paramount to effective service provision. I have a proven ability to meet deadlines and experience in working with and meeting demanding KPIs. I have an extensive range of management experience, from first line management, directly line managing front line staff, through to my last few senior management roles directly reporting the COO. I have experience in managing operational services across multi sites. When Head of Wellbeing for Essex Cares, I was responsible for more than 30 sites across Essex, with in excess of 250 staff. I am currently Head of Business Support at ECL. Managing 4 services within the Business Support Centre. These include the Customer services call centre, the workforce resource planning team, the assessment and review team. I have actively led operational changes by restructuring services and integrating teams from across different specialisms. Not only has this been beneficial in cutting costs, but also enhancing new opportunities. I am experienced at performance managing staff and am a strong believer in staff development, I see this as a great management tool in itself, by aiding staff to reach their full potential. I am sure if asked, my staff would say I am a very approachable, problem solver, consistent, and fair manager that achieves excellent results.
