- Introduction of new products with new technologies having as a main customer Ford.- Correlate project worldwide with sister plants in France, Turkey and China.- Develop multi-functional team in Juarez plant to start prototypes construction according with customer specifications.- Capacity Analysis Report submissions for different projects.- Answer product feasibilities for each project and work with manufacturing engineer to create a quotation.-Active member of the team to develop and review Control Plans, PFMEA’s and DFMEA’s.- Team leader projects at corporative level to solve reliability issues.- BOM and drawing maintenance.- Evaluate and select suppliers for new machines.- Support as product engineer to solve quality problems using quality tools (8D’s, 5Why’s, etc.)- Validate statistically the new process to ensure the long term quality.- Consolidate Gauge R&R studies for new tools.-Construction of prototypes for future programs giving feedback to the design team for improvements.-Control the budget of each project to make sure the business has profit according with the company expectations.-Follow up during production the cost of manufacturing and look for cost savings to increase profit.-Visit and receive customers to follow up potential problems and make sure the product is as good as expected.-Visit suppliers to follow up quality problems and/or audit production process.-Visit and receive sister plants to start benchmarking for new technology and processes. - Key user of new systems implemented, give training and participate as a coach for new members of the company to stablish a standard way to follow procedures.
