He provided level appropriate material and delivered lessons in a timely fashion, given that we had strict start and stop times. When teaching lessons, Alan was professionally dressed, clear in his speech, and accommodating to different levels of learning. Time management was never an issue for Alan as the instructions he presented to his students were clear and the guidance he provided during activities meant he was always able to finish on time. Our job sometimes required us to change pace or the lessons altogether with little notice and Alan was very flexible in this regard. Alan ensured that he used appropriate gestures and material to explain the content of his classes. He made learning fun by ensuring that students remained engaged and actively participated. Students were never patronized and were in fact praised for their participation. Evaluations took place several times a semester and Alan was always able to accurately address the areas that needed improvement and provide critical feedback to the rest of the team so we could improve our lessons moving forward. I would work with Alan again in a heartbeat. Working with Alan was some of my fondest career experience and as previously mentioned, I learned a lot from Alan during our years working together. I always appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with Alan because not only was he accommodating, but I could always find a new way of doing things with his guidance."
