• Support data center operations through analysis and audits of electrical systems. Respond to incidents and emergencies. Privacy and data security practice area. Assisted with projects on state privacy law (California, Virginia, & Colorado), biometrics (Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act), and First Amendment issues.

•Project experience includes mission critical facilities for major telecommunications through out the continental U.S. and Alaska. Projects include electrical service upgrade, upgrades to meet new client standards, code compliance upgrades, UPS replacements, ATS replacements, DC Plant Design, and facility remodels or expansions. • Experience includes taking on lead role on projects, interacting with clients for project development, and mentoring junior engineers.• Editing specifications documents and contract/scope of work documents to provide to contractors for project bidding and providing opinion of probable cost to client. • Evaluating project bids from contractors, reviewing project submittal packages, and responding to requests for information from the contractor. • Performing arc flash analysis, short circuit studies, breaker coordination studies, and photometric studies.• Performing site visits for data acquisition.• Perform electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines to create a construction document set under the supervision of senior engineer.• Prepare emergency power operation plans.•Coordinating with architects, AHJs, clients, and contractor for project completion.• Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate electrical equipment.• Assisting with recruitment efforts.

This was comprised of seeking out bids, submitting proposals, negotiating scopes of work, reviewing contract documents, and coordinating schedule for work.•Oversaw and managed a crew of up to four plumbers/apprentices along with foreman to complete multiple projects. This included keeping track of time and budget, schedule, for all employees for multiple projects at once. •Developed proposals for value engineering solutions at request of client and or general con-tractor on several projects. One value engineering proposal led to the securing of a contract for work worth over $900k. •Consistently meeting or working with city inspectors and planners to ensure that design and finished work complied with all applicable local, state, and federal codes.• Develop submittal packages and ensure customer specifications and code compliance is met.• Attend meetings with client, general contractor, architect, and other trades for coordination and successful project completion.• Coordinate with internal warehouse department and external vendors for purchasing of necessary materials.• Conduct job site visits for quality assurance and code compliance.
