Working in the Nuclear Refurbishment Training Change Control department, helping the team ensure every aspect of the project is properly assessed for training, and all required training is delivered to the right people at the right time.

Stepped up to manage the Engineering Training Department, ensuring the training needs of the 1,500 engineering staff (permanent and contract staff) were met, in accordance with our governance and applicable regulations.

Worked in the civil engineering section of the Engineering & Mechanics department, supporting 3 nuclear power plants and a nuclear waste facility. During the first year completed rotations in the Design Projects department, and the Fuel & Physics department as well as four weeks of job shadowing all of the workgroups in the power plant.

Joined HMCS Star (naval reserves) in 2002, as a Marine Systems Engineering Officer while going to school at McMaster.
