Co-created the highly successful children’s music series Beautiful Creatures with Ed Jordan. They have released seven albums and have achieved platinum and four gold albums in South Africa, and have been acknowledged by the music industry with two SAMA nominations and the SA theatre industry with a Naledi award .They are also represented on Itunes globally. They have released five children’s books and co-produced a stage production with Hazel Feldman which attracted over 20 000 people. They are also currently developing an animated TV series. They are also represented on Itunes throughout the world. Beautiful Creatures is parent friendly children’s music and has an education, and conservation message. Alan, Ed and Paul Choritz co-founded a record label to manage the BC brand. His career began writing and performing with the acclaimed accapella cabaret group "Not the Midnight Mass" in 1988. The group won various awards including a Dalro Award, Evening Post Award and Vita nomination. In 1992 he co-founded the innovative media, advertising and marketing company GMR Transit Media. In 2001 he and his partners sold the business to Corpcom / Clearchanel International. He subsequently started Alan Glass Production and Fried Glass Event production company. (a corporate communications consultancy, which specializes in TV and Radio production, Industrial Theatre, Event Production, and Brand activation) Alan is known for numerous TV and radio voice-overs, and was a resident voice artist on KTV and Mnet. He was commissioned to create a children’s story book, song and in-store content for an extensive brand campaign for P&G, Pampers. He has written several other corporate themes and songs, and children's stories. Alan’s book ’Olivers Outline’ published by Pan Macmillan in 2015.
