• Promoted and raised the profile of safety in the mill, delivered safety training and undertook risk assessments and safety audits• Took a leading role, as first point of contact for the group, at National Health and Safety Committee meetings

• Worked in various positions including security, machine operator, logistics operations and warehousing duties, acted as the union appointed safety liaison representative
