Working with regional sponsors and third party clients developing rail infrastructure investment schemes; meeting customer requirements; developing innovative solutions while maintaining regulatory standards in performance, investment, safety, legislation and delivering key metrics. Working with design engineers to develop infrastructure solutions delivering the clients requirements, whilst challenging previous thinking that infrastructure is the only solution when alternatives could exist. Stakeholder management of internal and external clients and the production of detailed reports at various stages of project development.

Project managed the project lifecycle of Delivery Office mergers in the Midlands, Wales and South West England while maintaining regulatory responsibilities.

Managed the deployment of mail sorting machinery into multiple locations in the South West as part of a Royal Mail Nationwide Transformation Programme.

Led the operational design team designing the mail processing operation in a new mail processing unit, work flows, processes and developed detailed capacity processing plans.

Led a team of 5 staffing all shifts efficently in a mail processing unit of 450 staff, with an annual staff budget of £10m while ensuring customer service and regulatory compliance.

Undertook work measurement, generated work/standard times, deployed operational improvements in delivery units and mail processing sites, coached staff through performance improvement and performance measures. Produced detailed reports & action plans for poor performing units and deployed performance measurement system in the South West of England.
