• Category 2 inspector ( RG2 Accreditation for In-Service Inspection of Pressure Systems UKAS )• Competent person as defined in the Pressure Systems LegislationPreparation and review of Written Schemes of Examination (WSE).Identify the scope of preparation to meet the WSE requirements.Carry out physical inspections of Pressure Systems & EquipmentUnderstand the appropriate use of all available NDT techniques to assess for continued service of aged components.Develop and coordinate the NDT requirements to support the examination process as well as reviewing and accepting NDT results.Write clear and accurate technical reports in a timely manner that fully detail the results of the examination carried out.Assess as found deterioration and calculate rates of degradation to support continued endorsement.Identify repairs and raise recommendations for remedial action.

• Production of full detailed drawings and calculations for new equipment on capital projects and modifications to existing plant.• Production of vessel data sheet, & tender documents. Checking of Vendor drawings and calculations for design intent and code compliance, bid appraisal and order placement.

• Production of Plant layout, and isometric drawings, for new Projects, and modifications to existing installations, liaison with functional, purchasing and construction groups.
