The Senior Buyer and Systems Specialist position has been established to provide high quality purchasing assistance along with technical support, training and direction in support of the strategic direction of Atlas Copco.This role forms an integral part of the Purchasing function in the achievement of operational objectives. With a strong, solid background in purchasing the Senior Buyer will take a proactive approach in reviewing current systems and procedures. Required to make recommendations, implement changes and be responsible for responding to inquiries from management, staff and external agencies regarding purchasing procedures and software system operation.Key Purchasing Responsibilities include:• Manage buying or procurement for many products and services. • Generate, manage and review purchase orders• Create and maintain vendor and product details• Implement changes to improve buying or procurement procedures. • Contribute to the establishment of new buying or procurement policies and strategies. • Maintain and update purchasing records• Liaise with vendors and team • General administration supportKey Systems Responsibilities include:• Instruct system users in the use of applications• Answer questions and assist in resolving problems regarding the methods and procedures for using the applications.• Identify possible improvements in the systems• Provides technical support in creating content areas• Maintains various records and documentation for systems• Provide Training
