Personal Profile:I have a Construction background with Maintenance experience and more than 20 years in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. By fulfilling many roles during my offshore career to date, ranging from Construction Electrical Technician, Involved in major Fire and Gas Upgrade projects on Shell Dunlin Alpha, Pre-Commissioning Supervisor, Assistant Power Technician on Shell Cormorant Alpha as part of core crew maintenance team, responsible for all aspects of day to day running of Large 1st Generation Installation from routine maintenance of Safety Critical Elements, frontline breakdowns, Preventative Maintenance, general repair and fault rectification, I have successfully completed my objectives, while continuing to Learn, Study and develop new skills.I became self-employed and on leaving the Oil and Gas Industry for a short period and developed a successful small business in the Mobile Telecommunications Industry where I progressed from Installation Technician to Field Service Engineer on contract to Nokia/Orange project.As well as becoming co-owner of a small Inventory Management Business in Glasgow.On re-entering the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd, I have been involved in a number of Upgrade Projects on a variety of Installations from FPSO’s to larger full Production Platforms as an Electrical Technician, E & I Supervisor, Completions Co-ordinator, OCS and Safety Representative.Senior E & I Construction Engineer BP Upstream/Midstream AssetsMore recently with Wood Group PSNK Kazstroy on NCOC Kazakstan as E & I Construction Engineer developing Construction Workpacks and Certification Matrix for Ongoing Live Offshore Upgrades and Modifications.Currently working from Wood Plc Bellshill Office back with the (BP Upstream Contract) as a Senior E & I Construction Engineer (Work pack Development and Implementation).
