I carry out a wide range of tasks that are linked to the improvement of customer services such as organising, delivering and evaluating customer surveys and collating performance trends. I also organise and provide support to the Services Manager for Lothian Pension Fund including the development and distribution of agendas/minutes before and after meetings. Other tasks include making travel arrangements for all staff and elected members, maintenance of our business centre including ordering stationery and other goods, archiving of electronic and paper files and assisting in event planning for seminars and divisional meetings. I assist our Portfolio Managers to prepare papers for investment contracts. I am one of the designated fire wardens for the Investment & Pensions Division. On hearing the fire alarm I have to ensure the safe evacuation of staff from my area of the building. I also represent my division at the council wide “Building User Group” meetings and attend divisional staff forum meetings on behalf of the Customer and Quality Team.

Investment & PensionsMy main task was providing support to the Head of Investment and Pensions. This entailed the development and distribution of agenda and minutes, diary management including making sure that the attendance of the Head of Investments & Pensions at meetings were timely.

I carried out a range of duties such as after hour reception duties, reporting building faults, room booking, building security and security access.

I carried out a range of duties such as course administration, exchange administration (in/out), timetables, transcripts, student visits, group administration and committee servicing.
