Alan is a passionate journalist, a social inclusion advocate and behavior change communications professional based in Kenya. He brings on a wealth of experience in inclusive media practices, leadership and advocacy. Alan currently serves as a prime time TV host at Signs TV Kenya and is a founding member and Chief Executive Officer of Black Albinism, Kenya.Besides day to day broadcast work, Alan is an inclusive communications consultant who has worked with organizations such as Leonard Cheshire to develop and narrate inclusive employment learning modules, he has worked with Action network for the disabled to create a documentary on the status of the commitments made by the Kenyan Government at the inaugural Global Disability Summit hosted by the UK Government in collaboration with Kenya as well he has worked and still work's with Sightsavers international as a citizen reporter for its programs in the country.Alan holds a diploma in journalism and media studies from Kenya institute for professional studies, a certificate of media studies for media practitioners awarded by The Media Council of Kenya, a certificate in mobile journalism awarded by the International Center for Journalism in collaboration with Facebook and several other certificates from the Young African leadership initiative.
