I have been, and currently are, involved in so many things here it's hard to know where to start. Some of my most memorable projects have been the acquisition and interpretation of approximately 150,000 gravity stations in northern Michigan to map buried glacial scours for a number of Antrim producers, and being involved with the state of Michigan in writing some of the early guidance on groundwater modeling. I have kept busy with both mineral and hydrocarbon exploration geophysics and environmental projects. Westshore is a special place to work - a relaxed team effort.

Allendale Campus

Bill Neal asked me if I would like to teach intro to geology classes and I said OK. It wasn't very rewarding financially, but it was very rewarding personally. Because it took so much time to prepare for classes, I had to say no after a couple years.

Houston, Texas

I oversaw the acquisition and interpretation of shallow geophysics and worked on hydrogeologic projects, particularly groundwater modeling of hydrogeologic systems.

Traverse City, Michigan, And Houston, Texas

I conducted regional and prospect level geophysical analysis using, seismic, gravity, magnetics and electrical methods.

Denver, Colorado

I worked with Dr. William Pearson processing and interpreting gravity and magnetics as well as gathering the geologic data to help ground truth it all. I also oversaw the acquisition of geophysical data and spent numerous hours talking to Bill, one of the smartest people I have ever met, about the meaning of it all.
