Consulting on the internal and external processes used within Mackson who are a major Installations Centre for B&Q.

The remit was to visit all existing Fitness First clubs including 10 new recently acquired London based clubs and review the various cashing up, banking and audit procedures to ensure the business was following company procedures and ensuring a visible audit trail was occurring.This role would also require presence at all new openings ensuring Management and staff were trained to the standard required by the company. The role involved travelling where necessary throughout the UK, Ireland and Scotland, developing a working relationship with club Management and staff and carrying out an audit of the various operational procedures to ensure compliance.

The Internal Audit remit was to review existing policies and procedures across all 54 retail outlets and to introduce a single set of business standards and consistent practices, systems and controls. Working closely with senior management and retail teams, successfully devised and completed the Audit Plan.
