KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS1.Settle all existing litigations, claims and disputes by taking proper legal action to defend company interest, and provide professional legal advice/opinion and drafting contracts.2.Ensure that all contractual commitment with third parties respect local and international regulations and that the interests of the BU are protected from a legal point of view3.Ensure that the BU complies with Internal Control Standards linked to legal aspects. 4. Provide professional legal advice or opinion and assist BU Legal Manger, when requested Ensure that the assets/ interests of the BU are protected in an efficient manner and take all relevant actions to settle any claims or law suits raised with third parties. CORPORATE ISSUES:Ensure compliance with local laws in term of registration and legal formality of Company issues such as:Existence and activity of the CompanyOwnership of sharesPower of authority. Operating approval and rightsTitle to propertiesDecision to be approved by the Board of DirectorsCONTRACTS MANAGEMENT:Review contract drafts and comment thereof from legal and national contractual practice point of view *Ensure that all contractual commitments with third parties respect local regulation and protect the interests of the BU *

•Coordinate with 4 universities in Iraq to implement the Legal Education Reform Project, including Basrah, Koya, Wasite and Qadisya universities. •Finalize and compile report of faculty advisors. •Monitoring program activities in 4 Iraqi universities. •Design and plan to conduct training, workshop and event meeting with universities partners. •Leading process of reformation curriculums within 5 law schools in KRG in cooperation with Ministry of Higher Education. •Train students in the law schools on human rights, rule of law, moot court, and international human right law. •Reporting and analyzing indicators of the program.

•Plan to implement the program in North of Iraq. •Coordinate with partners' government and NGOs for bettering program implementation. •Reporting to donor and indicate progress and challenges. •Field Visit to program areas and monitoring the program activities to identify the strength points and gaps, accordingly plan base on what recorded. •Arrange training with partners for teachers and other educational supervisors on child protection and psychosocial support. •Staff management, there was 7 filed staffs under my supervision 2 in Sulaymaniyah, 2 in Kalar District, 2 in Diyala “ Khanaqeen District’ and 1 in Karkuk Governorate. • Budget monitoring and submission monthly projection to finance department.• Train peoples and new staff were recruited by the organization to be orientated with program’s concepts. •Represent the NGO in the UN and inter- agencies coordination meetings in Sulaymaniyah and Erbil.

•Manage the Project of Legal Protection Assistant for IDPs, Refugees and Returnees in Sulaymaniyah Governorate. •Reporting to donor UNHCR.•Represent the clients in the court as per the UNHCR guidelines. •Plan to visit detention centres and prisons to arrange for lawyers to following up cases. •Coordinate with local authorities and stake- holders such as security and DDM. •Staff management, there was 5 staff under my supervision including 2 lawyers, 1 social workers, 1 need assessment officer and 1 information officer. •Plan to conduct assessment to identify the most vulnerable IDP families and supervising process of distribution Non Food Items over the identified families. •Represent the centre in the Emergency Cell of Sulaymaniyah and attend the inter agencies coordination meetings in Sulaymaniyah Governorate Council. •Field visit to camps and areas where target groups located such as IPDs, Refugees and Returns.

•Supervising trainings for police forces in Kirkuk in cooperation with the Directorate of Police in the governorate. •Coordinate with the University of Kirkuk to identify the teachers from the college of law to play a role in the trainings as facilitators. •Set criteria to identify the participants for the trainings.•Report to donor as per the instructions. •Analyzing the evaluation forms of the participants and plan accordingly. •Manage 2 field staff and instruct them to manage the program as per the detail implementation plan. •Field visit to program area and monitor the activities and facilitators performance. •Plan to train 135 police officers along 6 months, 4 days in a week. •Financially prepare the salary scale and monitoring the budget.
