After merging Whitehorse with Computerware, I joined as CIO to revitalize the stagnant services division. I launched this managed IT services and technology sales provider from the ground up and grew the business to $500K in annual revenue with a client portfolio of nationally based customers within commercial, nonprofit, government, health care, hospitality, legal, financial, and other sectors. Serving as Network Administrator, I oversaw system and network infrastructure, information security, IT asset management, and incident management. Working across three locations, I managed a three-person IT team and a remote help desk service provider. Specifically, I designed, implemented, and administered the corporate IT infrastructure, including Windows-based servers and desktops, a Cisco-based LAN, and a mesh VPN using 11 connections between corporate sites. Overall, I ensured the company was secure, functioning, and able to meet every federal reporting deadline and audit standard.
