I would best be described as a tinkerer. I enjoy home automation, 3D printing and solving ordinary everyday problems with technology.My interest in technology drew me to the aviation industry and my current role as an Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Within my role I have found I am especially interested in troubleshooting aircraft faults as it offers the best opportunity to learn the individual systems at a deeper level. The satisfaction of solving complex problems is deeply rewarding, so I never shy away from those challenges.Safety management is the heart and focal point that leads development, innovation and continuation within aviation. It is the first instrument we as maintainers utilise for our tasks, and it is the last we put down. As aircraft need maintenance, so does safety culture. It is my sincerest effort to contribute to and encourage the circulation of a positive culture.
