Alan Perlowitz is the managing partner of Chaves Perlowitz Luftig LLP and heads up the firm’s Real Estate and Banking Practice Groups.Alan, armed with a strong accounting (Alan is a non-practicing CPA as well as attorney) and finance background, counsels clients on a diverse array of real estate, finance, tax and corporate matters. This unique blend of business and legal experience has given Alan an advantage when structuring, documenting and closing transactions.Alan concentrates his practice in commercial and residential real estate with a strong emphasis on representing institutional lenders in real estate and asset based lending transactions. Many of Alan’s loans include properties secured by office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family and industrial buildings, mixed-use facilities, construction projects and hotels.
