Rapport and relationship building with all relevant stakeholders, relating to engineers,service technicians and clients- Coordination of everyday operational activities, general servicing,preventative maintenance, and corrective fault rectification works for various systemsinvolved with Caterpillar engines, including completing testing and troubleshootingprocedures.- Utilising the Cat Electronic Technician software service tool to diagnose existing andpotential problems, perform calibration processes, and configure electronically controlledCat engines & machines.- Performing diagnostics on cooling systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, and air &exhaust systems, with reference to inspecting electrical & mechanical faults and isolatingthe cause of the problem.- Completing overhauling/reconditioning jobs for engine ranges up to 4 MW.- Demonstrating specialist maintenance capabilities, utilising technical manuals to dismantle,repair & reassemble engines, generators, components, and sub-assemblies, as well ascarrying out replacements.- Implementing quality control checking systems, constantly reviewing all factors of theengineering process, as not to cause any issues/delays to operational activities, as well as meeting &maintaining industry standards.- Targeted operational activity & engagement, constantly working toward deadlines, whichrequires exemplary time-management capabilities.- Client engagements, in accordance with outlined job specifications and are tailored towards specificrequirements.- Coordination of finances, with regards to preparing quotations, estimating costs, and workingwithin client budgets.- Implementation and adherence toward relevant government regulations, across all installation, testing & commissioning jobs, in order to ensure that activities are operating in accordance with health & safety best practice, regarding potential hazards, fire safety andon-site risk assessment
