I was responsible for all Color Category decisions, representing 30% of our overall business. Additionally, I supervised the Merchandising Department, consisting of two directors, five category managers, one buyer, and four assistants, providing functional guidance to direct the sales force, store operations, distribution, and finance departments. I also managed projects, forecasting, introducing, and placing products, coordinating repackaging initiatives, and conducting promotional planning and exit strategies. Products included national brands, controlled brands, and private label products.
