About Alan Lawrence

Alan Lawrence, Director, is responsible for BlackRock's Regional Retail fund sales in the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man.Alan joined the company in November 1993 with Mercury Asset Management, initially on the fund side, but has worked within sales since 2000. Alan assumed responsibility for BlackRock’s Isle of Man office in 2008 before his relocation to Scotland in 2011 enabling him to oversee the Group’s retail activities within his region. Alan assumed responsibility for the Regional Sales Team early in 2019.Alongside Alan's wider management role he assumes specific responsibility for fund sales in Ireland, IOM and Scotland. Alan is also a member of the Management Committee overseeing BlackRock’s Edinburgh office. A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment Alan previously worked for Tyndall Bank International.
