As a Digital Forensic Examiner with over 30 years in Law Enforcement (26 years with the San Jose Police Department and 4 years at the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office), I have developed an expertise in the investigation and examination of digital evidence. I have examined computers, mobile devices, IoT devices, vehicle systems, and digital video recorders. From forensic imaging to chip-off, I have grown with this industry and have always loved the challenge of acquiring and decrypting data.At the San Jose Police Department, I worked in a variety of assignments, including Patrol Officer, Narcotics Enforcement Team, High Technology Crime Unit, Patrol Sergeant, Forensic Examiner, and Deputy Lab Director at the Silicon Valley Regional Forensic Computer Lab, Internal Affairs Sergeant, and finally as a Homicide Crime Scene Sergeant. At the DA's Office, I was assigned to the Crime Lab as a Digital Forensic Examiner, where I was the Technical Lead and Digital Forensic Trainer.
