Pricing and contracting Lead for the Non-Acute market segment. Responsibilities include developing and implementing contracting strategies within the Non-Acute market segment, managing the Oncology pricing and contracting team, chair a Product Steering Committee, and training new Account and District Managers on the contracting process. Lead the development team for a new Hospital based contract to support the launch of a new indication for a 5HT3 anti-emetic. Work with Account managers and field sales teams to negotiate contracts with key customers.

Designed and developed economic models to show the value of pharmaceutical products. Provided healthcare industry clients with economic research studies that quantified the value of their products to a variety of clients, including government and private agencies. This work included quality of life studies, cost of burden, social costs, and cost-effective models.

Developed a decision tree model for the respiratory strategic steering committee that provided milestone events for four different respiratory drug classes currently in development. The failure to achieve any milestone events could reduce the probability of acceptance of the class by physicians. Based on the output of this model, the steering committee committed to continue the development of a class of drug that had previously been recommended for discontinuation. Led a team that developed a tool that identified sales growth opportunities and potential sales at risk within a given managed healthcare organization. Product management used the tool to identify accounts that had the potential to generate greater returns for the marketing investment made in the account.

Performed statistical analysis, including linear and non-linear regression analysis. Collected and evaluated market data (airplane hours, takeoff, and equipment failures) that could influence the demand for aerospace products. Was responsible for a yearly production forecast of approximately $100 million dollars, broken down into six product lines. Provided Executive Management with monthly forecast updates. Presented a Five Year forecast plan to Executive Management semi-annually. Recommended changes to the five-year plan based on sensitivity analysis on both economic and business outlooks. Provided a report that explained the yearly sales variance between the historical norm of sales and the current sales forecast. Provided monthly forecasts and average daily shipment requirements to production planning. Provided demand estimates for investigational products to the product line contracting personnel to assist in the bidding process for inclusion on new airplanes under development.
