Hands-on management of the monthly close, consolidation accounting, internal and external financial reporting. Establishes accounting policies and procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Oversees company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budget. Presents findings and recommendations to senior management. Responsible for abiding by all company standards as explained in the Company Handbook. Additional Responsibilities:• Oversees all necessary accounting policies, internal controls, general ledger and financial reporting• Ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations• Coordinates audits and filing procedures, prepares and/or reviews SEC filings including Forms 10K, 10-Q, 8-K, and/or reviews tax schedules and returns• Prepares technical accounting memoranda• Coordinates all finance activities, including billing, collections, payables and payments• Issues regular status reports to the CFO and presents quarterly and early reports to the Audit Committee

Responsible for leading teams with up to 10 professionals and managing all aspects of external audit and risk management engagements for both large and small SEC and non-SEC registrants within the Power & Utilities sector. Detailed Responsibilities Include:• Reviewing financial statements (10-K and 10-Q) and other financial reports before delivery/publishing• Coordinating worldwide audits for the foreign subsidiaries• Conducting risk assessments and determining resource requirements for assigned engagements• Coordinating internal control testing under SOX 404 rules, this includes reviewing memos, developing internal control matrixes, and proposing suggestions to clients to decrease control risk and increase security over assets• Preparing and delivering our finding to the client’s boards of directors• Participating and discussing relevant business issues in technical meetings with top management• Following up on budget vs. actual project profitability and making decisions timely
