I work hand in hand with our dynamic board and frontline personnel. My duties range from governance and safeguarding, organizational capacity building, partnership development, revenue generation and fundraising, and program design and implementation.Achievements:-Established new partnerships in 2021 with Frontlines and Iroquois Tennis Club in Toronto and Teen Haven in Montreal to increase access for participation for youth and adults-Introduced the adapted sport of blind tennis to Canadians and supported the growth of the game in ON, QC, BC, NS and AB 2011-present-Secured funding and partnership with ParticipACTION to deliver Community Better Challenge for Rexdale youth and community network to increase physical activities in month of June 2020-Negotiated Trustee agreement with local charitable organization within Rexdale community 2020-2021-Acquired grant, and literary resources with First Book Canada to enhance literacy capabilities for Rexdale youth during stay-at-home restrictions 2020-Launched first blind tennis stay-at-home challenge with visually impaired participants from ON, BC, and NS February-April 2020 Show less
