As the Head of Legal for Fund Solutions at Investec, I lead a team of lawyers who work on providing innovative financing solutions for fund managers and investors across the globe. Over the years I have developed deep expertise in fund finance, including capital call, secondaries, and NAV backed facilities, as well as other bespoke financing solutions for GPs and LPs. I am passionate about integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) features into our transactions and products. I was shortlisted for the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Award (Europe) 2021 in the "Innovation in Sustainability & ESG" category for my work in this field. I also enjoy giving back to the community by providing pro bono legal advice to charities and non-profits, such as the Start Network, where I served on the Finance and Audit Committee for several years.
