Highly ambitious individual who has a Higher National Diploma in Electronics with Music Technology.Currently employed at CityFibre as an Implementation Engineer looking after a number of Fibre Exchanges across the North East of England. The work involves the planning, quality assurance and commissioning of all patching and hardware installations within each FEX.Prior to joining CityFibre, I worked at Indigo Telecom as a Field Engineer. In this role I carried out the installation and commissioning of network equipment within data centres, POP sites, BT Exchanges etc.The work involved included the installation of Control Cards, Line Cards, Switches, Console Servers, Firewalls, running of power and fibre patching amongst other things. I carried out the following work for the below customers throughout Scotland and the North of England:CityFibre - All installation and patching in their FEX sites including running power. All work fully documented for the customer both on a SAR and more recently using their AI, Deepomatic.Nokia - Installation of 7750 SR7 Service router including running power and patching. Also installation of other Nokia Equipment.Orange (OBS) - On call fault repairs and scheduled maintenance, working on various Cisco equipment.Axians - On call fault repairs, working on various Juniper equipment.BT Athena - Installation on BT Athena project on various sites.NEOS/Infinera - Patching, scheduled maintenance and on call fault repairs.I have previously worked for Virgin Media as a Senior Service Technician and as a Satellite Engineer for AVC.
