I left CenturyLink 8/2019 to go back to school for Architectural Drafting and Design, and began coursework at the Dunwoody College of Technology. I chose Dunwoody for the immersive in-person program which is built on a team environment within my discipline. The experience was nothing short of life-changing. Enter Covid 19. The pandemic hit during my second semester of school and shut everything down. When classes did finally resume they were remote, isolated, and non-immersive... in other words, the opposite of what I had intended by making Dunwoody my school of choice. Though school is on hold for the foreseeable future, I'm thankful for the opportunity I had to learn at Dunwoody. I wouldn't change a thing. I went back to CenturyLink (Lumen) as a Field Supervisor in 1/2022. The position wasn’t a good fit for my skillset(s) and didn’t make full use of my abilities. I didn’t get the satisfaction I needed, and separated from the company again in 8/2023.I'm actively looking for a challenging and gratifying technical position with room to grow; one which will use my knowledge, abilities, and logistical skills to their fullest. Ideally in an environment which requires continuous learning and advanced problem-solving in a professional team environment. While I come from the Telecom industry, my soft-skills and mindset are valuable in any industry.
