Current•Lead 7 teams, 76 staff and a budget of over $19 million.•Maintain integrity of road regulatory programs by leading the delivery of compliance programs, and where necessary implementing risk based, intelligence led interventions to support optimal levels of compliance.• Ensure compliance interventions are conducted ethically and in alignment with Quality Regulatory Services (QRS) regulatory principles, policies and procedures and applicable legislation.• Lead teams of multi-disciplinary specialists to deliver compliance assurance and intervention activities; monitor and appraise staff work performance and facilitate their ongoing professional development.• Undertake high level issues management for significant or controversial issues, providing advice to the Executive, CEO and/or the Minister on relevant issues.• Represent Roads and Maritime at meetings, workshops and conferences to provide expert analysis and advice on key road regulatory compliance issues.• Manage system and financial resources effectively to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the outcomes, targets and regulatory responsibilities of the organisation.• Contribute to and actively participate in the development of divisional, corporate and business plans as part of the divisions leadership team; collaborate and contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations of the division.
