I worked for Bootle Containers as a Project Design / Sales Manager to oversee the design to manufacture of their container rage using the latest AutoCAD software. Bootle Containers manufacture units for the all different sectors including the OffShore Industry, Defence Systems, Civil Defence Systems and Environmental Systems.Key skills and Roles Extensive experience of planning, project management, design & client liaison. Experience of interpreting specifications and preparing technical proposals and drgs for manufacture. Ability to multi-task in a demanding engineering environment running 2 - 3 projects at a time. A strong track record in delivering projects on time and within budget. Resolving complex technical issues and coming up with fast efficient solutions within agreed budget. Ability to find alternative manufacturing solutions. Prepare customer weekly project progress reports. Head and organise departmental weekly project meeting Liaise with all necessary parties to ensure successful delivery of projects Creating and updating bill of materials (BOM’s) Coordinate when necessary with supply chain Close out projects and review.  Timely completion and delivery of detailed project financial review  Achieve excellent customer feedback. Raise all necessary invoices and variations Contribute to continual improvement of processes/procedures Convey a professional image of the company at all times Develop in self accordance with changing responsibilities of the role

Assisting in the day to day running of the shop floor and paint shop. Working in the CAD Department as a programmer for the punch & Laser. I am fully trained in using all of Radan’s latest software including 2d design, 3d design, rad punch, rad profile and nesting. I have also experience in using AutoCAD Inventor to produce 3d models, assemblies and drgs for shop floor manufacture. I am also fully trained in a shop floor data capture system called MIETrak this involves taking all bills of material from the Inventor models and any customer drgs and imputing them to produce route cards, quotes and bills of material for purchasing. With the use of MIETrak I can also run whiteboards and schedules to be run on our shop floor. My job involves direct contact with customers, solving problems, Making sure they get a product that meets their required standards. I am also fully trained as an Amada Laser Operator and Pressbrake Operator.
