I have over 10 years of industrial and commercial electrical experience, and extensive experience working with civil and electrical crews in a safety capacity, ensuring that OSHA standards are met and crews are in compliance with all other regulatory requirements. After graduating from SDSU with a B.A in Psychology and obtaining my General Electrician Certification, I became interested in a career in safety. I have many safety certificates and certifications and recently obtained my CHST. I have worked as a safety coordinator for Morrow Meadows at the Carlsbad Energy Center and for Dynalectric at the Manchester Navy GAF site, I also was the Safety Coordinator for Sargent electric at the Melrose BESS battery energy storage project in Vista, CA. Most recently, I was the Civil and Electrical FSO and Electrical SME for Icon Utility Services, working directly with SDGE & AECOM. I have a strong background in the electrical industry and am experienced in working with electrical linemen crews performing work on overhead and underground primary and secondary conductors. I have a passion for working with people to make job sites safer through proactive identification and correction of hazards.
