I started my consulting career in 2002 and have since advised organisations across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. I marry this expertise with specialised post-graduate qualifications in corporate governance from UCD. I serve on the Working Group of the Governance Code for Community and Charitable organisations. I'm a member of the NSAI Committee (TC30/SC01) providing Ireland's input to the development of the ISO Governance of Organisations Guidance scheduled for publication in late 2021 and I represent Ireland on the advisory board of International Governance journal. I am a member of the Working Group that developed and administers the Code of Governance for the wider voluntary sector launched in 2012, reviewed in 2016 and accessible here: www.governancecode.ie. However, I found the transition surprisingly easy due to the super open-mindedness of the management team who were most welcoming. I was responsible for marketing retail deposit products under the the ICS brand through the Bank of Ireland network and marketing residential mortgages through the national independent broker network. It was a great introduction to financial services and a priviledge to work with a great team.
