I recently retired from my position as Production Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital. My forty years of management in the foodservice industry has seen me working in varied roles...Chef, GM, Food production Manager, unit location manager, staff troubleshooter. Employed for many years by Marriott Foodservices, location assignments have been varied and included the Harvard Business School, the Christian Science Center, The Foxboro Company, assisted living facilities andhospitals.I was employed in wholesale food sales and developed a great understanding of the workings of the restaurant and foodservice industry from daily discussions with top Boston operators.Over the years, specialized areas of expertise include large quantity food production, staff training. cost analysis and control, and all aspects of menu planning. I have been in involved in a number of renovations and start ups and have become comfortable working with planners, contractors and tradespeople to insure the timely and complete conclusion of these projects.Over the last fifteen years I have nurtured an interest in photography into a small, but enjoyable business as a freelance photographer. I have been shooting for many local papers and also do event photography for meetings, celebration, presentations etc. My food background has led me to working with several prominent local foodservice and restaurant organizations.I am available for consulting assignments, as well as photography positions.
