Over time fundraising approaches evolved and we were somewhat swallowed up by the large fundraising mechanisms such as just giving however we learnt a phenomenal amount and enriched the lives of lots of people through our existence and efforts and I am very proud of that. I was responsible for bringing together existing, but disparate teams from around the organisation and creating one high performing team in a new function, this included designing the team structure and building the leadership team. I also led the transformation of the team from being print focused to primarily digital, becoming a true customer first, digitally focused organisation. In the role we delivered the product information that facilitated a turnaround in online growth including double digits in multiple years. We enabled a 3x expansion of the product assortment whilst improving customer satisfaction with product information online and significantly improved engagement within the team.During that time product information and the broader team become recognised as a commercial specialism able to drive the ambitions of the business and they were recognised for their work externally.During my time leading the team we also aligned product information, data and content processes across international businesses, successfully upgraded our PIM, streamlined many of our operational processes and added smarter technology solutions.
