Working with schools, local authorities, and other education bodies in UK:• Advised new schools on budget and staffing structures and their governance• Assisted schools and school districts to successful bids for additional grants for capital expenditure• Jointly led review of admissions to selective schools, through public seminars, consultation with schools, and reports to elected members• Developed revised policies on seeking funds for additional school places• Led seminars for elected representatives on school place planning and on home to school transport• Managed Planning, Admissions and Transport Department of Education Walsall, which included negotiating with schools, developing improved liaison with other school support services, proposing revised contract arrangements for home-to-school transport, and championing the introduction of new technology to school admissions processes• Undertook survey of school districts embarking on electronic admissions processes
