Also enhanced the POSDM aggregation to also aggregate on article/promotion level. Enhanced the interface from PMR Vendor Funds to ECC Condition Contracts to allow storage and settlement of these via promotion and/or article number too. Creation of an interactive promotion checking report that allows users to check all, or selected promotions in a given time period using a number of rules for legal and sense checking e.g. to warn if multiple promotions combine to give excess discount for particular articles.Enhancements via BAdIs on the PMR Offers entered on the CATS system.Creation of report to e-mail vendor fund details as a PDF attachment. Dansk Supermarket Group in Aarhus, Denmark.Provided development support for a PMR implementation.Here I enhanced the standard Offer Maintenance Web Dynpro application to allow Vendor Funds to be generated and assigned to the Offer. This was integrated to allow Vendor Funds to be edited and automatically updated when the Offer is updated. This was due to the business model that Dansk utilise which involves very large number of promotions with vendor funding being driven from offers rather than vice-versa, which would have required unsustainable manual data entry without this enhancement.I have since improved this solution to allow multiple currencies and closer integration with SAP-standard.Coop Norge, Oslo, NorwayImplementation of SAP CAR system including Omnichannel Article Availability (OAA) and Inventory Management system to integrate Neptune applications with real-time data provision from the CAR system.

I worked as an SAP Development Consultant on projects and support for multiple clients. Undertook project, upgrade and support work for clients including Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, ARM, Halfords, Volkswagen, Woodmansterne, Oxford University Press, Royal Mint, Muller, QinetiQ, Birmingham City Council, and Central Bedfordshire Council. Was involved in an implementation project at Mercedes AMG High-Performance Powertrains facility at Brixworth developing web services and related logic for web-based front-ends, some developed in Web Dynpro. This also involved reorganizing 6 months’ worth of transports to allow the phases of the project to be implemented in a different order than they were developed in. Was involved with development of new series of stock and material reporting for Volkswagen UK to report back to their parent company in Germany. Worked as development support for ARM in Cambridge on a new SAP implementation project. Worked on multiple other minor projects, developments and support calls for clients in multiple modules and SAP versions. Undertook estimation, specification and documentation for many small and large developments.

Worked on project to install SAP IS-Media Press Distribution Extension system for PNS in the Czech Republic from October 2007 until October 2008. Was the senior developer responsible for the PDEx aspect of the project. Worked closely with the SAP IBU in Waldorf to develop and tune the PDEx solution. This was the forst full implementation of this IS-Media extension. Created a bespoke packing optimisation system in ABAP and mentored the PNS in-house developers.Then from August 2008 until October 2011 worked on the 2nd implementation of PDEx/IS-Media at Menzies Distribution Limited in Edinburgh. Again worked closely with SAP on what was a new release of PDEx. Was responsisble for recruiting and heading up a team of up to 7 contract developers and mentoring of in-house developers. I developed an ALV workbench generation tool that was used to generate over 90 bespoke reporting and maintenance workbenches on the project. Also created a rules engine and application for vetting customer claims with a resultant traffic light indicating the likely authenticity of the claims. Created a system for maintaining customer/magazine and newspaper titles ranges and combined this with interfaces from legacy systems to generate IS-Retail Assortments that were then used by PDEx for generating customer contracts. Considerable performance tuning was involved in what was one of the largest SAP implementations in the UK by data volume e.g. there are over 80 million contract lines.
