Currently - Jan, 2023 - we are involved in 8 apartment syndications as General Partners and 13 apartment deals as passive investors, or Limited Partners. Totaling 5244 Units and $574,432,750 in assets. Here is a brief guide to how we got here:After building several "Build to Rent" townhomes in Seattles, Alki Beach and Green Lake Neighborhoods, we were desiring better cashflow so we could semi-retire. We were seeking, "Landlord and business friendly municipalities, which are experiencing EXPLOSIVE growth." This became our mantra. We started investing passively in apartments mainly in Texas. We loved passive apartment investing! Soon we were involved in thousands of units. Then, we were pitched some really bad deals...... and were in shock as we watched people investing their hard earned money in bad deals. At the same time our Seattle based friends were asking how they too can invest in apartments passively. Then, my mother passed away. Much like my father, more or less broke. You see, they never learned how to invest passively, so they were forced to work almost till they passed.The combination of these three forces made us step up to the plate and become general partners, put our voices out there and inform and educate people about what a GOOD apartment syndication looks like.
