My current role at the University of Exeter is within Engineering and Direct Works where I am Manager for the department. I am an experienced commercial gas manager/engineer with 28 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering projects and managing mechanical and gas-planned/reactive works including maintenance and compliance.I have worked and managed in various areas of the industry, from managing trade and installation teams to supporting technical management for small works, and project installation, including management of projects. I manage a multi-disciplined workforce not excluding an administration team, help desk, and call allocation team.I am an experienced professional in strategic management and planning, including managing change to deliver positive business results.Expertise in leading people, and taking responsibility for long-term organisational success, managing people, projects, operations or services. Support the development of organisational strategies and plans. Develop and deliver operational plans; be able to set targets and KPIs, manage resources, and monitor and measure outcomes to establish operational effectiveness, efficiencies and excellence. Produce reports that present information and data, using a range of interpretation and analytical processes.
