- Serves as the C3 Systems Information Deputy Branch Chief and the Network Infrastructure Lead responsible for command level technical management, planning, daily operations, and maintenance of 68 Civilian, Military, and Contract personnel for the USCENTCOM CCJ6 HQ in Tampa, FL and the USCENTCOM Forward HQ (CFH) in Qatar.- Conveys oral briefings, information papers, and reports to senior leadership concerning daily operational status of critical services and circuits, network utilization and trending reports, and briefs related to technical reasoning, cost analyses, courses of actions (COAs), and after action reports (AARs). Stays abreast of changes in technology to assist management in preparing for future enhancements.- Provides 24x7 Network Operations support to the Commander, Deputy Commander, and other key leadership and Coalition members. Acts as lead IT Specialist for daily operational planning, design, implementation , configuration management, and maintenance of Tier 1, Tier2, and Data Center network infrastructure systems.- Operates, manages, and monitors 23 disparate local area networks (LANs) supporting four worldwide locations through the use of proactive network monitoring, performance management, configuration management, and auditing tools.- Outlines plans and milestones necessary to ensure timely identification, mitigation, and remediation of Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVAs). - Develops policies, processes, and procedures necessary to standardize daily operational actions ensuring effective communication management measures are executed congruently. - Conducts studies and leads working groups to identify/analyze trends associated with network failures and forecasts the need for future replacement or modification of hardware, software, and/or design architecture.
