Managed transport strategy development, traffic planning, on-street parking services, the Council's parking stations (9 multi-storey parking structures), the Free City Bikes scheme and the City Centre Adelaide Connector bus service. Developed a sustainable transport and movement strategy for the City ("Smart Move Adelaide"), and instituted separated bike lanes, bus lanes and other infrastructure, promotions and education for cyclists.

Helped to establish the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council, specifically developing the transport, infrastructure and environment work of the Council. Recruited and managed a staff of 40 professionals. Contributed to the Al Ain, Al Gharbia and Eastern Region 2030 Plans, produced the Abu Dhabi Urban Street Design Manual, and draft Infrastructure Location and Design Manual, and Coastal Development Guidelines.

Prepared a 10-year public transport strategy for Adelaide that lead to the State and Federal Governments' commitments to a $2.6 billion rail electrification project. Managed completion of South Australian Transport Plan. Managed Environment Policy section involved with Transit oriented development, vehicle emissions policy & monitoring, introduction of biodiesel fuel to city's bus fleet and pioneering travel behavioud change initiatives.
