This will include performance reviews, goal setting, production goals, disciplinary action, career development and succession planning. Develops direct reports through teamwork, coaching and innovation. Daily requirements include analyzing trends to predict production outcomes, inventory of chemicals, recruitment, retention of staff, and maintaining close interaction with the entire management team. Maintains existing plant facilities and equipment, replacing or adjusting plant facilities and equipment when necessary.

Orchestrate and supervise daily production operations while collaborating with department leadership on timely and cost-effective strategies for achieving short and long-term manufacturing objectives. Develop and implement effective cost control systems to govern and monitor capital, expenses, labor, and compensation. Actively buffer net profit by optimizing plant efficiency and maintenance in order to mitigate labor overtime, premium freight, and need for repairs. Set and monitor product standards by implementing testing procedures to assure ongoing product quality, as well as initial product reviews and other evaluations needed to ensure a quality end result is shipped to the customer.
