Recruited to lead the technical operations team. ★ Re-negotiated TI’s hosting contract with AT&T resulting in a 33% reduction in hosting costs that amounted to $840k in annual savings. In 2006 re-entered negotiations with AT&T resulting in an additional savings of $70k per year.• TI team lead representative for formalizing the Corporate Security IT Policy in 2004-2005.• Negotiated the purchase of 2 Sun Enterprise 6800 servers for $320k, a savings of $800k. These savings were accomplished by researching Sun trade-in programs and discovering that any server labeled “Enterprise” qualified for the maximum trade-in value of $20k.• Saved TI an estimated $500k by purchasing equipment through a new vendor after the dot com bubble burst.• Directed two TI production environment data center moves from one vendor facility to another in the same year. The cutovers occurred during a single window with less than one hour of dynamic content downtime for over 60 websites.• Created the TI Internet Hosting RFP held in 2002 that was sent out to a number of companies. Managed the technical and business due diligence process for each of these companies that ultimately resulted in a contract with AT&T.
