The Senior Manager Business Undergraduate reports to the Director of Business Undergraduate and is a member of the university’s academic leadership team.The Senior Manager is primarily responsible for the implementation and success of the various service, instruction, and support initiatives employed by business college faculty. Secondary responsibilities require that the Senior Manager be a student, program, and curriculum expert in order to drive a continuous improvement process using data to inform and participate in the university’s strategic decision-making process. Additionally, the Senior Manager provides leadership and supervision for a team of 7 to 10 program managers.

As Director of Training, responsible for training, certification and administration of a team of 153+ Instructor Trainers. Responsible for oversight of all training facilities, civilians on the battlefield and ranges utilized in support of RSOI training, responsible for coordination and execution of Programs of Instruction ranging from individual skills training to unit collective training. Responsible for briefing senior US Army Officials on status of integration of training. Serve as training subject matter expert representing ARCENT G3. Supervise Operations Staff, Collective Training (Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Training Team), RSOI Training Team, and Theatre Reserve Brigade Planning Team. Analyze and manage information for ARCENT G3 to link Warfighter Requirements with RSOI Training. Interface with agencies from Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), JIEDOO, AWG, TF Troy as well as in-theatre commands to ensure training best practices are nested from theatre to home station. Establish a positive link between emerging concepts and the training provided on the ground through ARCENT G3.

Responsible for oversight of all training facilities, civilians on the battlefield and ranges utilized in support of RSOI training, responsible for coordination and execution of Programs of Instruction ranging from individual skills training to unit collective training. Responsible for oversight of 6 Live Fire ranges, coordination and execution of 16 Programs of Instruction including scheduling, conflict resolution and training development. Developed detailed Training Support Packages for all aspects of C-IED Training including: Mounted Operations, Dismounted Operations, Battle Staff, CREW Training and C-IED Train the Trainer. Serve as senior Instructor for all aspects of training, Responsible for briefing senior US Army Officials on status of integration of training. Serve as training subject matter expert representing ARCENT G3 during bi-weekly VTC’s. As Chief of Collective Training (Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Training Team). Analyze and manage information for ARCENT G3 to link Warfighter Requirements with RSOI Training. Highlighted Military Accomplishments: As a Non Commissioned Officer I had opportunity to lead at the team (in charge of 3), squad (in charge of 10) and platoon (in charge of 35) level. I served in Airborne, Long Range Surveillance and Ranger units. As Ranger Instructor, I was part of a small team charged with instructional design and standardization of instruction within the US Army Ranger School. I was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate of the Officer Candidate School in 1995. As a commissioned officer, I led at the platoon and company (in charge of 185) level and served in several key staff positions. During Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, I was chosen over 15 other Captains to be one of only two ground operations officers to deploy forward with LTG McKiernan’s Early Entry Command Post to Baghdad. After returning from Iraq in 2004, I was handpicked to be a member of Task Force Soldier, which was one of 16 Chief of Staff Army organizational change focus groups. During this period, I was part of a small group that developed the Warrior Ethos implementation strategy for the Army. Also during this time, I was the primary author of the Soldiers Creed. As Operations Officer for the Officer Candidate School, I was directly responsible for the design and implementation of curriculum supporting the instruction of candidates for commissioning through Army OCS. As the Operations Officer for the Infantry Officers Basic Course (IOBC), I was directly responsible for the curriculum design and implementation in support of the transformation of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, recognized for personally preparing the instructional design transition plan that facilitated the reengineering of Infantry Officer training and education. I culminated my Army career Commanding HHC 2-187 IN during the transformation of 101st. I retired as a Captain (Promotable) in July 2005.
