Custom woodworking specializing in cradles, chairs, Shaker oval boxes, and a variety of other forms. A member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, demonstrator of traditional woodworking, and juried by the Dauphin County Historical Society. Additionally I have taught a variety of woodworking classes for Woodcraft.

Teaching a variety of woodworking classes covering projects as well as use of tools and skills. Focus on traditional woodworking emphasizing the use of hand tools, as well as power tools. Assisting new and experienced woodworkers in selecting and proper use of tools.

After 30 years with Volunteers of America, the past 19 of which as President & CEO of Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania, I am thankful to a wonderful team, who, upon my retirement in June 2014, left the organization in a strong financial position and ready for new stages of growth. We had grown from a $1million group of services for people in need to about a $7.5million much larger group of programs and services with 175 staff. In addition to no mortgages, no debt, all bills paid, audits with no findings, and we also left $1million in reserves to help fuel new growth. Additionally, we had 5 housing corporations, each with separate annual budgets totaling over $2million, consisting of 108 apartments for elderly on fixed incomes, and 54 apartments for adults with disabilities. The organization was strong and ready for new growth. The numbers simply indicate the capacity we developed to serve several thousand people each year through services that ranged from once a week to 24/7 residential programs. It was the staff that translated/transfigured those numbers into life-changing relationships and services.
