Product Engineering: o Launched T1XX – 2021 GM full size SUV o Lead Engineer BT1XX – 2023 GM Electric Pickupo Lead Engineer BT1XX – 2022 GM Hummer SUV o Prepared and updated seat complete DFMEAs along with analyzing supporting teams’ DFMEAs.o Champion the validation testing process of both component level and seat complete properties throughout all program phases.o Integrated foam, trim, plastics, structures, and other non-JIT components into the final seat complete assembly.o Issued and managed engineering changes to implementation, along with design requests for drawing and 3D math updateso Reviewed, marked up, and approved GD&T. o Performed root cause analysis both on the field & onsite plant and communicate results using 8D or 5 phase analyses.o Frequent travel to JIT & OEM plants for prototype builds, problem troubleshooting, & engineering trials. o Trained plant quality to use Polyworks software and 3D scanning.o Lead interviewer for new Lear Engineering Center in Colombia.

Test Lab :-Worked with Validation and Test Engineers to view the process from start to finish.-Set up and performed testing such as H-Point, Scanning, Chuck, and Durability.-Researched and tested new software, that was later implemented across the lab, to ease processes and file organization. Comfort :-Performed testing such as foam hardness, suspension, body pressure distribution etc., compiled the data, and presented to upper management. -Conducted comfort seat clinics, both externally and internally, and converted all subjective data to objective.-Performed seat benchmarks, and anthropometric studies.-Aided in development of new seat technology. Design :-Helped promote/ carry out MBD (Model Based Definition) to be used widely across industries. -Worked with teams from different OEMs helping apply MBD and GD&T in their CAD drawings. Wiring : -Worked onsite GM Vehicle Engineering Center with Design Release Engineers.-Created a BOM local database for every harness that was currently being used.-Analyzed and organized raw data.Quality :-Managed top 5 IPPM reduction project for one of our plants in Mexico. -Participated in Warranty part reviews with OEM. -Performed data gathering for all plants to root cause issues.-Shadowed Six Sigma Master Black Belt for better management as well as data gathering.-Worked in the plant with PPAP Coordinator to aid in launching of new program for OEM.FCA JIT: -Worked as a product engineer at a seat complete level where I used all my previous experience to guide design changes & communicate directly with the customer. -Developed an analytic model that reduced design iterations and was able to predict how H-point is affected by the different components and constraints in the seat.
