Worked at as a business analyst finding solutions for duplicate checking involved in the Texas Medicaid provider enrollment and billing process. Also part of a team that designed, developed, and implemented an inventory management and billing system for British Telecom and Proctor and Gamble. Our main product was a Java­-based tool that allowed for the quick implementation and modification of web portals. Work included gathering requirements, project/product management, data scrubbing, database architecture, various queries and stored procedures (Oracle), workflow design, and development. Made significant improvements to the native matching algorithm and was the lead developer on developing an inventory workflow management solution.

Worked as part of the Identity/EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index) team. Customer responsibilities included: system integration, duplicate record scrubbing, database conversion, troubleshooting, as well as providing technical and operational solutions. Acted as the project manager for multiple million dollar plus system installs and database cleanup efforts including Sutter Health, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Queens Medical Center, and Elliot Health Systems (one of the first integrations of a legacy system into an already operational Epic system). Also worked on many internal projects to improve the product, including improvement of the duplicate checking and patient search algorithm, Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW), National Provider IDs (NPI), external EMPI, interfaces, duplicate provider search (SER), and enhanced reporting. Skilled at finding creative solutions and ways to leverage existing functionality to suit customers' unconventional workflows.
