Represented the interests of publicly owned electric utilities in legal and regulatory proceedings, before Congressional committees, at national and international meetings focused on electric utility issues and industry market structure, and in both print and televised media during a 30 year career with the American Public Power Association. During the last 12 years of my career I was the Association's president and CEO managing a 65-member multi-disciplinary staff that included engineers, lawyers, economists, statisticians, accountants and lobbyists. Served as Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Consumer Federation of America.
