Supporting HR Managers throughout Northern Ireland to transition to company ways of working, whilst responsible for all aspects of the HR and Service agenda within one superstore, leading the store team through organisational restructure and implementing the company’s people strategy to a new integrated workforce of over 140 employees. As nominated Deputy I had operational responsibility for the store operation in the absence of the Store Manager.

Seconded to support, and look after logistical needs, of the support teams used following the acquisition of Safeway/Morrison’s stores in NI. Negotiating and arranging both travel & accommodation contracts for over 150 supporting colleagues throughout NI. Also involved with planning, organisation and delivery of welcome conferences, integration training and validations.

Following Executive Board approval, involved in chain rollout and cascade training to new locations throughout Scotland.

Secondment to Head Office project team, working on organisational change of store based management structure – direct responsibility for transitional training materials, best practice manuals, and overseeing phased chain rollout programme.

Leading Out of Hours trading operation of busy inner city 24/7 superstore. Duty Manager with 40+ colleagues, accountable for night replenishment, customer service and store merchandising standards

Responsible for all elements of day to day running of a busy serve over fresh food operation in superstore taking in excess of £1m+ per week, with a headcount of over 25 full and part time colleagues. Duty management responsibility, stock control, waste management and profitability.
