An expert within the food industry specialising in creative recipe writing, demonstrating, teaching and presenting with a background in commercial food concept development in retail and hospitality. I’ve written 4 cookbooks; the most recent, Foolproof Veggie One-pot (following the success of Foolpoof One-Pot), published by Quadrille, was released in October 2022. I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and was also the monthly food columnist in GT magazine from 2012-2014. With a background in product management, buying and marketing for national retailers in the UK and Australia, as well as a personal passion for food, I then gained Leiths School of Food and Wine diploma in 2007. I went on to create my own food brand, stewed! In 2008 and took it from London farmers' markets to the shelves of the the UK multiples in under 2 years.In 2014 I became Head of Food at Picturehouse Cinemas, masterminding the opening of the food concepts at Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly. In 2017 I moved on to head up the food team at Gousto, the recipe box company, during a period of massive growth. Previously I worked with M & C Saatchi to create recipes to go alongside Havana Club rum cocktails as part of a piece of work commissioned by Pernod Ricard. I have been a regular guest teacher at Leith’s School of Food and Wine where I ran my successful one pot cooking classes. I have also taught cookery privately and used to run a monthly supperclub in North London before relocating to Cornwall in early 2023.I am also one of the co-founders of My Doctor's Recipe, taking on the Product Director role. My Doctor's Recipe revitalises nutrition for healthcare with delicious foods that promote recovery and wellbeing.
